David 老师，您觉得AIP的学生如何？可以给我们一些反馈么？
David，What do you think about the students from AIP? Can you give us some feedback about them?
好的，我觉得我已经有蛮多年在中国工作的经验了，我过去十到十二年都有来中国工作。我们AIP的学生有些属于中国学生最好的特质，同时他们也有些更为西式的艺术和设计的方法，这些体现在他们的设计中。而这些东西才是关键。中国学生会比较擅长于模仿。但是就他们自己的想法和相关想法来看，这个方面比较吃力。然而，AIP的学生在他们工作时，都更具有创意，更乐于去质疑事物，更加有创新精神。我的意思是他们都极具资格来英国，美国乃至任何西式教育的环境中学习，这样他们会做的更好。所以，总的来说，AIP的学生绘画技术都很棒，同时也能去批判式地去提问、去挑战原有的设计，并找出相当不错并富有创意的解决办法。
Yeah. I think I’ve got lots of experience of kind of working within China. I’ve been coming to China for the last ten to twelve years. And our students in AIP have some of the best traits of kind of Chinese education, but also they borrow some kind(s) of the more western approach to art and design. And that’s really key. We Chinese students tend to be very good at their state, tend to copy things really well. But in terms of their ideas and the relevant ideas, it’s an area which they struggle a little bit. Whereas AIP students tend to be much more creative, much more open to come to question things, a little bit more innovative in terms of the way they work. What I mean is that they are well equipped for coming to the UK, or overseas to America or anywhere within that kind of more Western style of teaching, and they’ll do well. So generally speaking, AIP students are(have) very good skills in terms of drawing, but also are able to question, query and challenge design and come up with some really good and creative solutions.

Alright, thank you so much for your high evaluation for our students. During the presentation today, we can see there are some students that show their interest in University of Derby. So is there anything you want to say or some suggestions to the students who might be interested in your school?
当然。我们想要有创意的学生，我们想要会创新的学生；我们想要既敢于在课堂上挑战老师，又能跟其他学生合作的学生。我们不想要独行侠。我们想要具有合作精神的学生，能和他人相互合作，并从其他人的观点和经验中学习的学生。但是最基本的是学生要有一些基本的技能，对于所学科目要有基本或者比较好的了解。他们不必感到没有准备好，要穿越半个地球、远离家乡来读书。我们善于伴随学生，和学生一起工作，并且确保他们在新的环境下感到舒适。如果他们感到舒适，他们会做的很好，他们会努力学习，这样他们会做出很棒、具有创意的作品。而这，就是关于我们学校的全部。
Yeah, I think we want students who are creative. We want students who are innovative. We want kind of challengers, challenge us as lecturers and also kind of people peers collaborating with other students. We don’t really want individuals. We want good peers who work with people and kind of gain from each other’s idea and experience. But they do need some basic skills. They do need to have kind of basic…good understanding of the subjects they’re in. They are, they do… they don’t have to be prepared to get emplaced and travel across the world and leave their own country. And we know that and we are very good at kind of walking with students and working with students and making sure that they will feel comfortable in that new surroundings. If they feel comfortable, they will do well. They’ll work hard. They’ll work that is really good innovative design work. And that, for us, that’s all about us.

lastly ,Can you introduce university of Derby briefly to us?
德比大学坐落在英国中部地区，到伦敦大约1小时20分钟的车程，我们学校不大，但是实际上我们都是以学生为中心，我们注重创意和创新的培养。德比大学与很多世界领先公司，比如莱斯莱斯和丰田公司，合作并且帮助他们在本国建立研发基地。作为一所艺术大学，我们学科种类繁多，如：艺术、设计、电影、媒体以及音乐。我们甚至有自己的剧院，可以在里面给戏剧专业的学生上课。我们特别强调给艺术学生提供真实世界的学习经历，比如，如果是学戏剧专业的学生，我们就在剧院上课；而学音乐的学生，我们就用高识别度的设备教学。
The University of Derby is located in the middle zone of UK. we are about 1 hour and 20 from London, and uh We are a small university. But actually, we are very student friendly university，and we kind of focused on kind of creativity and innovation. Within the region of Derby, there are a lot of world leading companies like Rolls-Royce and Toyota are based and form their home within that parts of the country. As a college of art, we offer a full range of subject areas anything from art, design, film, media and music. We even own a theater and teach theater students in a theater. What we very focused on is actually delivering kind of role world learning experience for our students. So, in other words, if they’re going to be theater students, we teach them in a theater, but music student, we teach them in very high ranking kind of music facilities.
我们学艺术设计的学生在学习和教授的过程中，设备都非常棒：艺术画廊以及设计工作室。艺术专业学生可以自己设计工作室。同时，我们也跟工业紧密合作，所以他们都比较专业地关注于我们做的事情。
And our art design students learn and are taught in very highly equipped: art studios and design studios. We also work quiet close to the industry. So they is(are) a very kind of professionals focus on what we do.
这就意味着我们的学生毕业后能更好地走向社会，我们的毕业生大多数都具备创新精神，另外能够全心投入新的工作环境中的。
And what that means is that our students are well equipped to come into the world of work after they graduate from us. So they generally are very innovative and quiet kind of engaging students.
